1. Introduction
Welcome to AccountITGH (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our website accountitgh.com or our mobile applications, including ACIT Vehicle Logs, you agree to this combined Privacy Policy & Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.
2. App Permissions & Data Access
Our mobile app may request certain permissions to ensure proper functionality. These include:
2.1 Location Data
ACIT Vehicle Logs requests access to your device’s Location (GPS) data to accurately log and track vehicle routes, trip starts, and client visits for duty reporting and accountability purposes.
- Used only for authorized duty tracking and reporting.
- May access your location even when the app is closed or not in use — this ensures accurate trip start, route, and stop logs.
- ACiT Vehicle Logs uses location (including background) to track duty trips and client visits for company vehicles. This allows the app to record trip start and end points, helping maintain accountability and accurate trip histories. Location data is stored securely and never shared publicly. A clear in-app disclosure and consent screen is shown before requesting this permission.
- Location data is not stored permanently on your device nor shared with any third party.
- Used solely to display and record driver movement within your organization’s system.
- Users can revoke permission anytime from device settings.
2.2 Camera & Microphone
These permissions may be required for in-app features such as image capture, verification, or communication. We do not record or store media without your direct action.
2.3 Storage Access
Storage permission is used for temporary caching or file upload purposes (for example, when uploading reports or images). We do not access your personal files or media outside the app’s directory.
2.4 Network Access
Internet access is required to sync trip data with our secure servers. Offline data is temporarily cached and uploaded automatically when connectivity returns.
3. What Data We Collect

6. Data Retention & Security
Your data is stored only for as long as required to operate the Services or meet legal requirements. We employ encryption, secure connections, and limited access controls to safeguard all information.
7. Your Rights
You may request to access, update, or delete your information by contacting us. You may also withdraw consent for permissions (like location) anytime from your device settings.
